Post 6/11
Ok, so the birthday went pretty well.
Got up around 10, had breakfast (which I never ever have), did some stuff around the apartment that didn't involve packing, and then went shopping.
Now, the original intention of going shopping was to try and find a dress for Shannon's wedding in July. Since the only dresses I have are black, I figured I should at least TRY and get one that's a little more colorful for the occasion (even though Shannon said I could wear black, cause she knows it's my favorite color).
The dress shopping did not go well at all... however I did end up getting a few new shirts, one of which is white. Dress shopping however, will commence next week.
After shopping I went to the rents to have my birthday dinner. Hung out for a few hours, talked about what we were going to do for when I move back in..... then I went to the store, got a bottle of Boone's Farm (the peach one) and drank it before going to bed.
All in all, I'd say it was a good night. One of the better birthdays I've had in the past few years. I gotta say, the 12 months between the b-days were some of the most interesting I've ever had.
I'm still thinking of moving to cali though..... ;)

I, too, went dress shopping for something to wear to my cousin's wedding in a few weeks...I came home with lots of goodies - none of which were a dress. Unlike you, I was told that I could NOT wear one of my many black dresses. Bitch! She'd better have some damn good wedding day cake and that open bar had better be stocked to the top to make up for the hassle she's putting me through. I hate weddings.
A cupcake! Mmmmm..... caaaaaaake......
I haven't been to a wedding since I was 12 or so, and this one will have an open bar and hot army guys... so I'm looking forward to it ;)
Whoa! Seriously? Are you thinking of making the move west?! Really??? I'm all for it yo! (Having made that move myself...twice, I can say it's been two of the best things I've ever done for myself.) Go for it. We can hang out & stuff. BTW, I'll be home for a visit in a week & a half...& I'll be visiting the boat while I'm home. We'll have to talk!
I have some friend who want me to move out by Tewentynine Palms... but if I do, it'll be several months from now.
Of course, hanging out in cali with you would be a huuuuge bonus ;)
I'll be on the boat wed, thurs, and fri this week. I'm so excited to see you!!!!! I think you have my cell number... and if you don't, I know Matt does.
Sweet! 29 palms is relatively close to where I am...& hopefully where I'll be if I get my Plan A job. We'll see how that goes. If not, who knows where I'll end up. I'll be home from the 26th to July 1st. Doesn't look like I have you're cell number, but I'll be talking to Matt & get it from him.
