Feel it roll
Feel it roll
This touch and go
Twisting, turning
Bodies moving
Standing, swinging
Grinding, reeling
Sweaty, slick
And all so mixed
Arms that weave
With legs that slide
Feel your body start to ride
Bass and speakers
Jeans and sneakers
Hot and heavy
Getting ready
Jump on the floor and come around
You know what is going down
Grab a partner
Do-si-do
This has been my touch and go
Isn't it pretty? It even has a documented foot and meter! Wrote it in about 10 min around 2:30 in the morning. I should stay up that late more often if that's what I get.

I knew there was a reason I put up with so much of your crap...
re-read it... a few times...
"and all so mixed" could lose the 'And' but you'd also have to lose the 'With' from "with legs that slide". Not completely necessary but "Arms that weave" plays off really well against 'Legs that slide'.
Hate the Do-si-do - it's too Americanised and feels a little old worldy and soft where as the rest seems vibrant, youthful ("bass and speakers, jeans and sneakers"), don't change it though, it fits well. Just hate it is all.
Nice one Tart!
Mandolin...LOVE IT! One of my faves on your site...it just flows!
Pity post???????? What on earth are you talking about...
Answer me God damn ya!!!! What did you mean?????
Methinks I'm getting to Satan.
:)
Nah, I know you're not very good with english and just wanted to be sure you hadn't mixed up 'critical analysis' for pity.
